Q & A

How many photos do you shoot at a wedding, how many do we get to keep?

You can expect to receive between 50-75 images per wedding hour of coverage. You get to keep all of the edited images that you will download from your personalized gallery!

How much time should we set aside for portraits on our wedding day?

We give our couples the option of shooting two hours before the ceremony time, or 1 hour after ceremony. We are strong believers in a first look, with the Bride & Groom, in order to take plenty of time to spend on portraits! We’ll go over your wedding timeline together, to perfect the amount of time used for portraits!

Do you retouch your photos?

We shoot with the mentality of getting the shot perfect, in the camera, the first time. We are photographers, not photoshop-pros, so we make small touches to the images!

When will our photos be ready?

You can expect your images within 3-4 weeks from your wedding day. We know you’re going to be anxious to see your beautiful wedding, in picture form, so we want to keep the time of waiting as short as possible!

How do you store our images and for how long?

We have a back up for our back up. The wedding gallery will last for six months, so we highly encourage you to also back up your images, on multiple devices.

Do you travel?

Oh my goodness, yes! We met overseas, so our passion is traveling all over. Ashlyn has been to a number of countries and we always love learning and experiencing other cultures. The more ethnicity a couple has, the better! We may be a little bias though…

Can I post my images on any social media?

Yes, of course! We want you to share with everyone you know. We do ask and insist that our couples include us in a reference, so others can experience Ivy & Twine, like you did!
